Why I Started House of 434

The name House of 434 comes from my first home: 434 Bayview.

It was more than an address.

It was the place where many of the dreams I had carried for years began to take shape. From that home, I started my journey at Google, became a mother, received my green card, and began to understand what it means to build a life from ambition, uncertainty, and possibility.

Like many first homes, 434 was not remarkable because of the building itself.

It was remarkable because of what became possible there.

It was a place filled with optimism, hard work, late-night conversations, and the belief that a better future could be built one decision, one relationship, and one leap of faith at a time.

Looking back, I realize that the most meaningful things rarely begin with grand plans.

They begin with conversations.

A shared meal.

A late-night discussion about an idea.

A small group of people willing to take a chance on something that does not yet exist.

The most important opportunities in my life and career have emerged from relationships long before they emerged from institutions.

Over the last decade, I have worked at the intersection of technology, AI, fintech, startups, and private markets. I have met founders building extraordinary companies, operators scaling organizations, engineers pushing the boundaries of technology, and investors searching for what comes next.

What has always stood out to me is that exceptional people are students of the future.
